What is Parenting Children with ADHD?
It is a 9-week course that runs for 2 hours each
week for parents and carers of children who have a
diagnosis of ADHD. It runs through information,
strategies and offers tools for dealing with
communication, behaviour and relationships.
Who would benefit
from this group?
Parents or carers of children who have a diagnosis,
or are awaiting a diagnosis, of ADHD, referred by
their consultant.
Where do the
groups run?
The groups run at Barnardo's Family Support
Services, Melbourne House, 94 Mid Street, Bathgate,
EH48 1QF.
What format does
the programme take?
A weekly, two hour session that deals with specific
subject topics each week.
How can I access
the group?
You must be referred by your ADHD consultant from
St. John's Hospital.
Is there a
charge?
No. This is a free programme.
